As its president, Matthew McCartin has been working and studying in the horticulture industry since 1994, having held positions in retail garden centers, garden maintenance firms, hard and soft landscaping companies, wholesale tree nurseries, tree care firms, as well as winter employment with a maintenance and installation firm in London, England. For its resources, Hylaeus Gardens Inc operates a class 8 crane truck with 15 000 lb. lifting capacity, 2 utility trucks, cube van, six, ten and twenty five ton trailers, excavators, skid steers, and other equipment fabricated specifically for residential garden installation. It also owns and manages a fully irrigated nursery and holding yard on acreage north of Toronto. In addition, each member of the Hylaeus crew has been with the company for multiple seasons.
